RODEO STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

Put yourself in a position to win

There is limited research and publications on the physical requirements of rodeo athletes and even more so on recommendations for the training of rodeo athletes. In this sport you’re required to have an extensive amount of skill, strength, power and agility to oppose the tremendous power generated by livestock. Following a structured strength and conditioning program can assist in developing these physical qualities and also prevent injuries. Studies have suggested that injury potential decreases as the athletes strength training age increases.

It is my goal to provide clarity on training for rodeo and to be one of the leading strength and conditioning coaches for rodeo athletes in Australia. Whether you’re a roughstock rider, steer wrestler, roper or barrel racer, Stay Sharpe Fitness will help you improve your physical qualities and help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
